Delete your Yalla account

You can delete your account and data anytime. It takes effect right away and can't be undone.

In the app (fastest)

  1. Open Yalla and tap Settings
    Tap your picture at the top right of the map.
  2. Tap your name at the top
  3. Tap Delete account, then confirm

Without the app

Email [email protected] from the email you sign in with, and ask us to delete your account. We'll confirm when it's done, within 7 days.

What gets deleted

Your profile, photo, latest location, location history, arrivals and departures, moments, points, diagnostics, feedback you sent, and device tokens are permanently deleted. Nothing is kept. If you started a family and no one else is in it, that family and its places are deleted too. Otherwise your family keeps going, and the longest-standing member becomes its admin.

Only want a break? You can pause sharing or leave your family in Settings without deleting anything. See our privacy policy.
